Despite some initial doubts about a not exactly happy start, Apple’s iAd program is predicted to match Google in the mobile market share by year’s end, and we’ve heard stories about iAds becoming a real gold mine for developers. We’ve also heard complaints from advertisers about Apple’s strict control on ad approval - something huge corporations like, say, Nissan or AT&T are not used to. Businesses weren’t used to “ad approval process” before Apple, and that’s all because Steve Jobs wants to build an ad system that engages users at a personal level with curated, rich and beautiful advertisements. Steve Jobs Interviewed By Police Over iPhone 4 Prototype
We haven’t heard of the “stolen” iPhone 4 prototype story for a while, nor do we have had any updates on the police investigation that is still ongoing. Apple hasn’t commented publicly on the matter since last April, and it’s not that we’re missing the whole headline war to get the latest scoop on Jason Chen and Brian Hogan love affair - we’re just curious to know how this will end.

Ping: The Woz Approves
I don’t like Ping, but who am I to go against what the Woz says? Namely, Apple TV and Apple’s first attempt at social networking - Ping.

Engadget was the first to speculate about the upcoming new device, suggesting a new name and its complete redesign - both in terms of hardware (a very small set-top box) and software (it should run a modified version of iOS).
Adobe to Apple: “Our doors are open”
Finally, we’re back to talking about Adobe and Apple. Frankly, I was getting bored of writing about the antenna. Now, Shantanu Narayen (Adobe chief) is back in the game, and this time he’s saying that Adobe still wants Apple. They can still work together, if Steve Jobs wants to.
