Perhaps this will sound perfectly normal to some of you, but I find quite interesting that Apple keeps on spending money on Google’s adverrtising platform every month. According to a document leaked by AdAge, Apple spent almost 1 million dollars on Google ads in June - together with many big brands which spent a lot more millions. Read more

The Ultimate iOS Pie Chart
At least, that’s what asymco claims. We knew that there were 59.6 million iPhones and 3.2 million iPads through June; at the music event last Wednesday, Apple announced that 120 million iOS devices were sold to date. So asymco assumed that Apple sold 8 million iPhones and 4 million iPads during July and August, and they came up with a 45.2 million iPod Touches sold to date estimate. That’s 37.7% of total units. Ping: The Woz Approves
I don’t like Ping, but who am I to go against what the Woz says? The app wasn’t available yet, so I couldn’t give you my thoughts about Ping, Apple’s new attempt at social networking inside iTunes, although I already had some doubts about it. I installed iTunes 10 as it went live and immediately signed up to Ping.
Just like I expected, it’s useless.

Back in July, when Steve Jobs announced the free-for-all iPhone Case Program, he said that the expiration date was set to September 30th. Apple needed more time to think about the iPhone 4 antenna issues and a possible new solution.
Now, according to Mexican website CanalMX, Telcel’s (carrier) Director of Value Added Services Marco Quatorze stated that Apple is about to released a revised iPhone 4 by the end of September.
