Welcome to MacStories Pixel, our design brand.
MacStories Pixel is a collaboration between the MacStories team and our longtime designer Silvia Gatta. In addition to MacStories’ website design and logo identity, Silvia designed the websites, logos, and podcast artworks for our two podcasts, AppStories and Dialog.
MacStories Shortcuts Icons is the first commercial product released under the MacStories Pixel brand. With MacStories Shortcuts Icons, you’ll be able to customize the icons for shortcuts on the Home screen, choosing from 350 glyphs with four different color combinations for a total of 1,400 icons.
MacStories Shortcuts Icons are available in two versions: Classic and Color.
350 custom icons for your Home screen shortcuts, featuring multi-color glyphs on white or black backgrounds.
MacStories Shortcuts Icons (Color) offers all the glyphs of the Classic set, but each one has been painstakingly colored with a consistent palette. With two different background options, you’ll be able to make your shortcuts look more like apps or blend in seamlessly with Home screens featuring a black wallpaper. They’re designed to make your shortcuts look unique and different.

350 icons for your Home screen shortcuts, featuring monochrome glyphs on transparent or black backgrounds.
MacStories Shortcuts Icons (Classic) lets you install custom icons for your Home screen shortcuts. The set, which has been downloaded by thousands of iPhone and iPad users, was the first to keep the original background colors from the Shortcuts app. Now, our Classic icons are also available in a stunning monochrome version as a free update. The Classic set was designed to make your shortcuts look consistent with Apple’s design aesthetic.
