If you followed our WWDC keynote live coverage, or watched the keynote online yesterday, you should know that the white iPhone 4 was unveiled during the last part of the presentation.
It’s gorgeous, but Steve himself walked on stage with a black model. iSpazio has found a high-quality hands on video with the white unit on Youtube, check it out after the break.
While many of you may not be familiar with this name, Rich Dellinger is the man behind the widely acclaimed webOS (Palm, acquired by HP some weeks ago) notification system. And he’s now working for Steve Jobs.
Apple has announced the winners of this year’s Apple Design Awards (ADA), which unlike the past years are restricted to the iOS platform. We’ve talked about this before.
The Apple Design Awards “recognize applications that demonstrate technical excellence, innovation, technology adoption, and quality.” They represent the best that you can have on iPhone, iPads and iPods.
Even though the website hasn’t been updated yet, we’ve followed the event and you can check out the winners after the break. Congratulations to all the winners!

Remember D8, when Jobs said they were pissed at Flurry for abusing Apple’s developer agreement with their ad analytics? It’s Day 2 of WWDC, and Apple seems to have loosened up a bit. MediaMemo via MacRumors posts:
“If you compare and contrast with Apple’s earlier version, you’ll see the message is clear: It’s OK to collect user data to help sell ads – though you will need to get their permission to do so.”
MacRumors clarifies, however, that there is one interesting catch.
The new iPhone really is the most advanced phone in the world. And when you own the single most important piece of smartphone technology, you better patent its technologies pronto. Today, we go hands on with some of Apple’s newest iPhone related patents pertaining to the gyroscope and video calling.
Gamer Hideyoshi Moriya managed to build a custom arcade cabinet for the iPad out of some cardboard, using an Arduino board to connect with joystick and buttons. It’s an amateur project, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see something like this end up in some online store in the future.

Pulse is a promising news reading app for the iPad which we’ve reviewed a few weeks ago. It’s developed by two college students, and it’s become a major hit in the App Store selling more than 35.000 copies. And when Steve Jobs mentions you in a WWDC keynote, you know you must have done something good with your app.
