Mashable shared an online study yesterday from Resolve Market Research, which details public perceptions about the iPad, and gives us some insight on how a purchase of the iPad will subsequently affect other sales.

I’m Done with iPad Jailbreak
A few minutes ago I decided to restore my iPad to default factory settings. Why? Because I’m tired of the current jailbreak scene.
How to Play SNES on your iPad
I don’t think a Wiimote is required (check out the SNES iPhone Controller we found not too long ago), but Lifehacker lists four easy steps to play SNES games on your iPad. If Super Metroid doesn’t sound awesome on your iPad, I don’t know what does.
Hayao Miyazaki: “The iPad Is Disgusting”
Hayao Miyazaki, one of the greatest animators known to man, doesn’t seem to like the iPad. Heck, he even compared it to masturbation gestures and described it as a “game machine-type thing”.
App Store Password Caching Causing Unintentional Purchases?
So you have a kid right? Then I’m sure you’ve done this a lot or have had this happen at least once: You download an innocent game to keep them busy, handed them your iPhone, and let them have at it. The kids get carried away, and you wake up the next morning to a bank alert claiming you’ve incurred $300 in App-app purchases. This leads to a few nasty emails sent to Apple and the developer, claiming fraudulent charges and demanding your money back.
But just so you know, developers aren’t trying to screw you over. Apple has an odd API concerning purchases and password caching. While you probably realize that Apple gives you the opportunity to purchase multiple items in the store so you don’t have to keep entering your password, you might not have realized that this caching translates to in-app purchases as well.
Apple Targeting ‘Other’ Tablet Shoppers?
Interested in the mythical HP Slate, the compact Dell Streak, an Android powered micro-tablet, or something called a Netpad? Why not try an iPad?
While I wasn’t able to reproduce the advertising on Google.com, TechCrunch is right when they say that Google.co.uk results show iPad Google AdWords when you search for any of the above terms. I don’t know what Apple has to fear from the European market; the Dell Streak and gimmicky Android tablets shouldn’t pose a threat to Cupertino’s empire. I suppose it’s better to be safe than not, but it’s kind of an interesting tactic when the iPad is only the most popular thing on earth besides the iPhone 4.

Fever & Ashes, The Full Review
Color us red – Federico and I were never Fever users until recently. Supposedly we had been missing out on one of the world’s greatest RSS applications, and sequentially we were told to, “Get out.” So both of us bit the bullet a couple weeks ago and dropped the $30 from our paychecks just to see what all of the hype is about. And after a bit of monkeying around with Nearly Free Speech, both of us now have relatively cheap server space to host it all. As a result, we have a review.
The Pencil iPad Stand
In case you’re still looking for the perfect iPad stand, take a look at what we have here. Six pencils, some elastic bands, creativity and good grip.
Isn’t it great? I want one. Too bad I don’t have pencils with me now.

Concept: iPad Camera Case
So you want a camera on your iPad. I’m sorry folks, you’ll have to wait for a second version of the device. Maybe, or maybe not. Truth is, we don’t know what Steve is going to announce next year, and we certainly don’t want to start the rumor mill now.
But still, you can lay your eyes on this beautiful concept found on iPadevice: an iPad case with integrated camera and dock. Check out the images after the break. Most of all, let us know if a camera on the iPad is really that necessary.
