One thing people want to achieve with the iPad is the freedom to take notes wherever they are, whether it be for class, business, or play. There’s going to be a lot of stiff competition in this area as developers try to feel out what works and what doesn’t, but smartNote for the iPad looks promising. It reminds me of a mix between Thoughts and Circus Ponies Notebook for the Mac.

So we’ve been sent a brand new, fresh video of what the iPad App Store is looking like right now. There are tons of new apps since the last time, including the NYT, Associated Press, the NASDAQ app, Twittelator for iPad.

Bigger isn’t always better, and while I question just how many clocks I need to see at the same time, that’s not particularly why I’m interested in an application like PhotoFramePlus. Big news tonight folks, Apple has just approved a bunch of new apps for the iPad and we’re able to show you some good previews.
The New York Times Editors’ Choice app features a unique display of media content like photos and videos optimized for the iPad, offline reading and sharing options. All of this packed in complete new user interface and navigation. Check out the screenshots below.
