Moodagent is a playlist generator focused on flavor. Whether your mood be sweet or sour, Moodagent’s latest push to v2.0 improves an already great mood & match system which generates some particularly spectacular playlists. Adding social networking features for Facebook and Twitter, as well giving users the ability to chop up playlists, this new release has me stoked.

iTunes Festival: 2 Million People Apply for Tickets
Oliver Schusser, senior director of iTunes Europe, has confirmed that 2 million people have applied for iTunes Festival tickets so far, at an average of 100.000 every day. From the numbers above, it looks like this year’s iTunes Festival is going to be one of the most popular and successful ever.
Connecting People: Nokia Is Flattered, Doesn’t Sue
In Apple’s video for the iPhone 4, Scott Forstall said the new iPhone is all about connecting people. Too bad “connecting people” is a long time Nokia slogan (for more than a decade actually) and we all spotted the reference there in the video.
It’s a good slogan, but we all wondered whether Nokia could sue Apple for trademark infringement. A Finnish website said so, too.
Redesigned Time Magazine Follows in Wired’s Footsteps
With Wired setting the bar for gorgeous, high-quality, interactive magazines on the iPad, Time shows us what they’ve cooked up. Though in Time’s case, there’s a lot going on in terms of navigation that makes it feel really cluttered. There’s too many ways you can interact with pages that don’t seem intuitive, but we’ll see.
I am most impressed with being able to view a map of the stories: that is really important to me. Equally as interesting is Wired’s comments system, which I wouldn’t expect from a magazine – do I really want read the same trollish comments I can online?
Considering I just cancelled my cable plan (why would you do such a thing!?), Time will be great for keeping an eye on the world around me so I don’t lose track of current events. I’m hopeful this will be out soon, and you can find a quick video after the break.

Apple Releases iTunes Connect Mobile
Apple has released iTunes Connect Mobile for iPhone, it’s available in the App Store now.
The application allows developers to access iTunes Connect weekly and daily data such as sales, trends and in-app purchases on the go. The interface is clean and good looking. A very welcome addition to the App Store, and it’s nice to see Apple providing more and more to its developers.

A Simple Safari Extension to Shorten URLs
Safari 5 is Firefox in 2004: extensions are popping up from everywhere. Just take a look at Safari Extensions Tumblr to get an idea of how many tweaks have been submitted in just 3 days of existence. In this ocean of tweaks and addons though, it’s easy to get lost. If you’re looking for a simple extension to shorten URLs, and shorten them well, I think we’ve found one.
