Task Aware, Location-Aware GTD for iPhone
How do you manage your tasks? How do you try to be productive while so many distractions are behind the corner on the internet? Checking out MacStories all day doesn’t help, but you have to do something to stay on top of your todo list. Let’s say you’re a hardcore GTD user, I bet you’re using some apps to create tasks, organize them, archive them. You’re keeping those tasks in the cloud, but while you wait for Omnifocus servers to refresh your inbox you’re already firing up Tweetie and faving some tweets.
I say, go out. Maybe you’ve got some tasks to complete while on the go, say buy some water or pre-order that shiny iPhone 4 at the nearest Apple Store. In that case, location-awareness could help you. And so you might want to check out Task Aware for iPhone.
Android 2.2’s Javascript Performance Faster than iOS 4
So how does Froyo stack up against iOS 4 in Javascript performance? Pretty well surprisingly - Froyo (Android 2.2) on a Nexus One surpassed the iPhone 4 running iOS 4 in both SunSpider and V8 tests by an incredible lead. The benchmarks are interesting (the optimization of Javascript in Android is quite amazing).

So you want a camera on your iPad. I’m sorry folks, you’ll have to wait for a second version of the device. Maybe, or maybe not. Truth is, we don’t know what Steve is going to announce next year, and we certainly don’t want to start the rumor mill now.
But still, you can lay your eyes on this beautiful concept found on iPadevice: an iPad case with integrated camera and dock. Check out the images after the break. Most of all, let us know if a camera on the iPad is really that necessary.

It’s coming in a future release.
Here’s how you can install Frash on your iPad.
AT&T Acknowledges Upload Speed Caps, Will Fix Eventually
You guys know how you’ve been trying to upload media with your new iPhone 4, and feel totally dissed by the insignificant upload speeds? AT&T has publically admitted that it’s totally their fault via a software issue in Alcatel-Lucent equipment. AT&T’s statement reads,
AT&T and Alcatel-Lucent jointly identified a software defect — triggered under certain conditions – that impacted uplink performance for Laptop Connect and smartphone customers using 3G HSUPA-capable wireless devices in markets with Alcatel-Lucent equipment. This impacts less than two percent of our wireless customer base. While Alcatel-Lucent develops the appropriate software fix, we are providing normal 3G uplink speeds and consistent performance for affected customers with HSUPA-capable devices.
There isn’t an estimated delivery date for the fix, but AT&T basically says the speeds are competitive and fine in the meantime. We all disagree of course, but at least we know what’s going on.
