If you ask Cody what’s so great about Android, it’s very likely that among all of his responses there would be a special mention for turn-by-turn navigation. Yeah, stuff like Tom Tom and Navigon, but free.
Well, it turns out that it might be coming to the iPhone as well.
This is great news for App Store analytics tools such as Flurry and Medialets: they won’t be banned, but only if they respect Apple’s rules. So, unlike we reported some weeks ago, it’s not like they’ll be completely banned, they just have to change their system. The entity of “just” is still unknown though.
When people start posting product videos like this, one can safely say that that product is a success. Fake (probably) or not (unlikely), Chinese pianist Lang Lang had some serious fun in walking onstage at San Francisco playing Flight Of The Bumblebee on an iPad.

Summer is coming, and Apple has just announced the iTunes Festival 2010 which will take place in London - at Camden’s Rondhouse.
We’ve implemented some cool new stuff today in order to keep MacStories more accessible from the iPad / iPhone and increase the interaction with Twitter.
Great news for all the players and Mac users out there: Steam for Mac is finally available in private beta, and we’ve received the first screenshots of the application. Check them out after the break.

I was looking for the perfect iPad stand, but this one is something I didn’t think of and I might now consider. User 3n at Flickr managed to created an iPad stand, that works in both orientations, using the iPad packaging itself: with a small hand-saw and a few minutes of spare time, you can make a simple stand that even gives you access to the home button.
You use recycled material, you don’t spend money, it works: maybe it’s not elegant, but I guess to many people will be just fine. Check out the photo after the break. Thanks @takeo for the tip.
