Improve your Drag-and-Drop Workflow
iGrapher is a web based financial market visualizer that allows you to check in-depth charts and predictions of different stock and currency markets. Today we’ve found out that the developer of iGrapher is working on a 3D port of his software for the iPad.
Called “iGrapher 3D”, the app already looks smooth and fast, and we can’t wait to try a build on our iPads. In the meantime, check out the preview video after the break.
You’re running out of battery while watching a movie at the park and you need to go home and finish it there. It’s a beautiful day though, why should you go home? You have the right to stay outside. On the other hand, it’s not that parks usually come with wall chargers, so I guess you’d need a different solution, something like…a portable solar panel. Yes, a solar panel to charge your iPad.

Earlier today we’ve talked about Infinidock, a tweak available in Cydia that lets you put how many icons you want in your iPhone and iPad dock. You can scroll, create pages for dock apps and set a number of apps to have in each page. The developer of this tweak, @chpwn, has developer another cool utility called Infiniboard that allows you to create vertical pages on your home screen.

I knew all along that the iPad would turn out to be an amazing device, but a blimp controller with integrated cockpit view? No, I didn’t think of that.
The guys over at BreakfastNY.com have created a modified BlimpDuino which is controlled by the iPad’s accelerometer through a custom software which connects to a built in computer. The iPad thus becomes the real controller which also displays what the blimp sees via an attached front camera.

With all those extra pixels, I think Apple could have done something more with the iPad dock. You can add more icons than the iPhone, but that’s pretty much it. Fortunately ther are some tweaks in Cydia you can download to enhance the functionality of the iPad dock, and today we’re taking a look at Infinidock from @chpwn.
So I decided to stick with Things from Cultured Code as my GTD iPad app of choice. In the long run, I think Things is going to be the best I can have on all the devices I’m running it on (iPad, Mac, iPhone) and as soon as Cultured Code will introduce support for OTA sync, it will be just perfect. But what about those of you who bought an iPad, want to be productive on it but can’t really stand the whole GTD method? Well I’m afraid to tell you that there aren’t many alternatives right now into the App Store. Whether you want a simple checklist app or just another note taking software that you can use as todo solution, really - the choice is limited. You have to give a spin to this app though: Sorted by Savage Interactive.
It turns out that it’s pretty simple to add media to your .epub iBooks, and by “pretty simple” I mean the HTML5 <video> tag.
