Half a Million iPads Not Enough for AT&T?

Reuters reports on comments claiming that AT&T has seen about 500,000 iPad customers connect to its network. The number of 3G-capable iPads in the U.S. is really unknown because Apple doesn’t break down sales reports by model. One analyst thinks these numbers are low compared to Apple’s overall sales of over 3 million iPads last quarter. Read more



Cheers - The UK’s Daily Telegraph iPad App Now Available

The Telegraph iPad app brings “the best editorial content from the newspapers seven days a week on Apple’s tablet device, including UK News, World News, Sport, Business, Comment and Features, along with the day’s cartoon by the Telegraph’s award-winning cartoonist.”

It can be read offline but will require a daily download, so plan accordingly. The download will be available every day at 5 a.m. BST.

Edward Roussel, Digital Editor of Telegraph Media Group, said: “We are delighted that iPad users will now be able to enjoy the best journalism from The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph.”

The app is free for a limited time because of partnership with Audi UK. Details on future pricing is not yet available.

Desktop Version of Weet Coming for Mac?

Hello, my name is Chris and I’m a twitter client addict. I usually download and try them all. It can be a beta, official release, iPhone, Mac - it doesn’t matter. So today we have a new contestant to the Mac - Weet. It’s handcrafted by Raptor Apps and Marcelo Marfil. The iPhone version was released last week; it’s very good for a 1.0 release, check for an in-depth review soon by Federico.
