Following in the footsteps of Gizmodo, we have our own bar stories to share with the general public. Or at least some spy shots of Apple’s unicorn-status white iPhone 4. While there aren’t any scandalous stories about sex and espionage (I wish there was), we do have some sexy finger photos after the break.

There’s A New Minecraft Clone In The App Store
Fans of popular indie sandbox game for Mac and PC Minecraft have been asking for a native iOS porting for months now. While it looks like they won’t be getting an official iPhone or iPad version anytime soon, clones approved by Apple are here to help.
After a brief appearance of “Minecrafted for iPhone” two weeks ago, there’s a new app in the App Store called “Eden - World Builder” which looks and behaves a lot like the original Minecraft. The app is available now here, and it’s priced at $4.99. Although the app’s name doesn’t carry the Minecraft brand, the description on iTunes says:
Explore a vast pristine world of infinite possibility. Build your own personal Eden. Eden brings the creative block building genre, pioneered by games like Minecraft, Infiniminer, and Blockland, to the touch screen.
Whatever. From what I can see in the app, though, looks like you can break any block with 1 hit, and I haven’t seen monsters around. Perhaps I just need to play more.
Anyway, grab the app before Apple pulls it, it’s available here.
The iPhone: A Small Tablet→
The iPhone: A Small Tablet
After a few seconds it struck me that what we’ll end up calling these things is tablets. The only reason we even consider calling them “mobile devices” is that the iPhone preceded the iPad. If the iPad had come first, we wouldn’t think of the iPhone as a phone; we’d think of it as a tablet small enough to hold up to your ear.
The iPhone isn’t so much a phone as a replacement for a phone. That’s an important distinction, because it’s an early instance of what will become a common pattern. Many if not most of the special-purpose objects around us are going to be replaced by apps running on tablets.

Angry Birds Seasons Now Available→
Angry Birds Seasons Goes Now Available
From now on, every season is an Angry Birds season. After the special treats of Halloween, Angry Birds Seasons returns with another gift that keeps on giving: Season’s Greetings for the Holidays!
Seasonal theme, “25 days of Angry Birds” until Christmas, Game Center support, new achievements. 99 cents in the App Store. Looks like a nice update.
Gift Plan: Shopping Lists Just Got Sexy
I knew the guys at Glasshouse Apps made great apps. After all, they’re the folks behind Barista, Cellar and The Early Edition for iPad. They’ve always cared about delivering beautiful pieces of software packed with information and functionalities. But their latest adventure on the iPhone, Gift Plan?
It’s hot. It’s a gorgeous app that not only makes it easy to check on upcoming occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas) but it also serves as a nice shopping list / gift manager that helps you keep track of your friends tastes and stuff you’ve gifted them in the past. Pretty pixels are all over the place – so is a highly custom user interface – and I’m not even sure I’ll use this app regularly in the future, but I’m willing to give a try. Read more
360 Panorama: Simple Real-Time Panoramic Photos for iPhone
One of the apps I was really looking forward to just showed up in the App Store: Occipital’s 360 Panorama 3.0 for iPhone has been released, and it rocks. This app allows you to take panoramic photos using your iPhone or iPod Touch camera, but unlike many other similar apps available, 360 Panorama doesn’t force you to take multiple shots, stop, take another shot, stop again and then merge all the photos you took.
Occipital’s app does all that in the background and adds an Augmented Reality layer to the iPhone’s camera, meaning that you’ll see a 360° grid on screen and you’ll just have to slowly move the camera around you to build your panorama. It’s almost magical. Read more
Amplify Your iPhone’s Sound with the New Phonofone III
Years ago, RCA Victor (now just RCA) symbolized a dog named Nipper looking into a Phonograph as their advertising icon. Look how far we’ve come - Nipper is being replaced with an iPhone, thus the Phonofone III by Science and Sons.
Spaced: Beautiful App With The Latest News From Space
NASA is holding a press conference tomorrow “to discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life”, and what better way to check on the coverage of the conference than Spaced app for iPhone and iPad?
I found this app in the App Store this morning while I was looking for my daily software fix. I’ve always been interested in reading space-related material, but I’ve never really subscribed to a set of sources with my RSS reader or bought magazines for that matter. I just followed a bunch of people who regularly tweet that kind of news and I don’t mind giving Reddit’s space section a read every two days or so. Read more
Right After The Mac Beta, Reeder 2.2 for iPhone Brings New Facebook and Instapaper Features
The first public beta for Mac went out a few minutes ago and an update to the iPhone version showed up in iTunes soon after that. Looks like December 1st is going to be a Reeder day.
While I think I’ll definitely spend the night working in Notational Velocity trying to figure out the best way to put in words what I’ve been thinking about Reeder for Mac all along, the 2.2 iPhone version is here and it rocks. Just like the latest iPad update, Reeder now comes with Zootool and Facebook sharing. Fair enough, iPhone users were waiting for a way to easily send items from Google Reader to Facebook. But this 2.2 update doesn’t stop at Zootool and Facebook, or improved Delicious login support.
Reeder for iPhone 2.2 comes with a new article slider functionality that allows you to send items to Instapaper and / or Read It Later with a single swipe. It’s awesome. If you’re an active Instapaper or RIL user, this is a very welcome feature.
Reeder for iPhone is still the best Google Reader client out there. Go get it. Now.
