Since when Twitter acquired Loren Brichter’s Atebits, lots of rumors have been spreading around about a) Loren dropping the development of Tweetie for Mac, b) Loren planning to keep working on the Mac version and c) Loren enjoying his truckload of bucks and nothing more.

Exclusive Preview: Read it Later for iPad

Think about your iPad, and tell me what’s the thing you do most with it. I bet that of all activities, reading with the iPad would be the most popular answer. So much has been said about the tablet being able to revolutionize the print industry and old media (e.g. Newspapers that still have to figure out a way to monetize their online presence), but let’s face it: revolutions don’t happen in two months. It’s a constant and daily evolution, led by Steve Jobs, the App Store and developers.

Third party applications is where it’s at. Creative devs coming up with innovative solutions that show how a new device such as the iPad can indeed reshape the industry. We’re waiting for a second wave of great iPad apps to come along, and those apps will do even better than the ones we’ve seen in these two months.

AdMob CEO Claims Developers will Suffer Under New Policies

With Apple blocking AdMob, Google’s recent acquisition, AdMob CEO Omar Hamoui feels it’s necessary to comment on their ticket of non-admission. Acknowledging that, “Apple proposed new developer terms on Monday that, if enforced as written, would prohibit app developers from using AdMob and Google’s advertising solutions on the iPhone,” Omar finds Apple’s new terms highly distasteful. All I have to say is get over it buddy; companies don’t have to use AdMob to deliver the goods when iAds are always available. And Jobs has already made clear that some incredible businesses are already on board. So what’s your point?

John Sculley on Steve Jobs: “I have tremendous admiration for him”

John Sculley is the guy that in 1985 - together with the board of Apple Computer - decided to fire Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple and visionary personality, was fired from his very own company.

Everybody knows the story: Steve later returned to Apple in 1997 after he founded NeXT, made a deal with Bill Gates’ Microsoft to bring Office to the Mac, started the development of Mac OS X.

A Closer Look at the White iPhone 4 [Video]
