- iPhone and iPad apps now launch up to 30% faster.
- Newly shot photos appear in your library up to 70% faster.
- AirDrop is up to 80% faster.
- Browsing files and transferring them from an iPad to an external drive is up to 5× faster, matching the speed of Finder on the Mac.
- Connecting to Wi-Fi on Apple Vision Pro is up to 3× faster.
- The Apple Sports app provides scores, stats, and standings in over 170 countries and regions, including over 90 newly added markets.
- Xcode 27 is 30 percent smaller.
- Xcode Cloud is now up to 2× faster.
- Over 1,000 submissions are sent to the App Store every single hour.
- There are 20 Apple coding academies worldwide.
Apple Intelligence Details
- The third generation of Apple Foundation Models is a family composed of five models: two on-device models and three cloud-based models.
- AFM 3 Core is a 3-billion-parameter dense model.
- AFM 3 Core Advanced is a 20-billion-parameter model using a sparse architecture, activating 1 to 4 billion parameters at a time depending on the request.

Feature Availability
- Apple’s most powerful new on-device model is only available on the iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPads with the M4 chip or later, Vision Pro (M5), and Macs with the M3 chip or later. Devices must have at least 12GB of RAM to run it.
- Siri AI will be available in English at launch later this year, with Apple promising quick expansion to more languages.
- In the EU, Siri AI will only be available on the Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro at launch.
- Siri AI will not be available in China at launch.
- Voice Control powered by Apple Intelligence will be available in English only in the U.S., Canada, the UK, and Australia.
- Precision Finding on watchOS is supported on Apple Watch Ultra 2 or later and Apple Watch Series 9 or later. It can only be used to detect the iPhone 15 or later (excluding iPhone 17e and iPhone 16e), the MagSafe Charging Case for AirPods Pro 3, and AirTags (2nd generation).
- Tap to Share is only available on the iPhone 12 or later. It is not available in the EU.
- Splitting a bill using Apple Cash is available in the U.S. only.
- Lyrics Translation is now available for select songs in the following languages: English to French, English to German, English to Italian, English to Korean, and French to English. These join the already available translation pairs: English to Chinese (simplified), English to Japanese, Korean to Chinese (simplified), Korean to English, Korean to Japanese, and Spanish to English.
- Lyrics Pronunciation is now available for select songs in the following pairings: Arabic to Romanized Arabic, English to Hangul, English to Katakana, Japanese to Hangul, and Mandarin Chinese (simplified) to Katakana. These join the already available pairings: Cantonese to Jyutping, Chinese (simplified) to Pinyin, Chinese (traditional) to Pinyin, Hindi to Romanized Hindi, Japanese to Romanized Japanese, Korean to Katakana, Korean to Romanized Korean, and Punjabi to Romanized Punjabi.
