Verizon iPhone 4’s Starting to Arrive Today For Those Who Pre-Ordered

2011 WWDC Rumored to be June 5 – 9
Setteb.it has done some investigating and it seems that if Apple follows previous trends from past WWDC’s, it would appear that the 2011 dates for WWDC would be June 5 - 9. The above image gives a rundown of booked events in the Moscone center in downtown San Francisco and the dates of June 5 - 9 are just labelled as a ‘Corporate Meeting’, as Apple has done so in past years.
WWDC, or the World Wide Developers Conference has been the place Apple has revealed it’s new iPhones (except the original) and major updates iOS updates. The keynote on June 5th would also be a really nice tie in for the launch of the iPhone 5! Last years WWDC was on June 7 - 11.

greenpois0n Available for Windows, Mac Version Updated
A few hours ago the Windows version of greenpois0n was made available (as was promised) and an updated version of the Mac client, RC5 Beta 3 was also released. This jailbreak solution allows for iOS devices running 4.2.1 to be jailbroken and be untethered, which means the device can be restarted without requiring a program to boot the device.
If your iOS device has already been jailbroken with redsn0w, just run greenpois0n and it will untether it without removing anything. There is no word yet on whether a Linux version is in the works.

iPhone and iPad Changing People’s Reading Habits
Read It Later, the Instapaper-esque service for saving articles for later consumption has released some fascinating information on how users of the service, depending on the device used, have very different reading habits.
Posted on their blog they reveal that content is encountered pretty much constantly throughout the day, with only a slight drop after work finishes at around 5PM. As for when articles are read, those who use the computer have two key periods, during work at 8AM – 4PM and during the night at 6PM – 9PM with a slightly higher peak during which articles are read.

iPod Touch Turned Into DIY Phone With Original Packaging
Lifehacker has a knack for showcasing crazy DIY projects like this one: an iPod touch turned pPhone (p is for plastic) thanks to Apple’s original packaging. By coordinating a pair headphones to create an earpiece, he uses VoIP to make calls over WiFi, and some creative modding to get his solution to work as third party microphones crapped out or simply didn’t function. We think it’s a great idea: you have a free hardcover case on the cheap, and you’re not paying a contract with AT&T or Verizon. All that’s left is to draw the Apple logo on the back with a sharpie.

Boxcar Developers Share iOS Mockups With Their Latest Project, Upstage
You could share PSDs with Dropbox, DM screengrabs, or email PDFs containing sketches for your proposed iPhone app, but why not collaboratively share those latest ideas with Upstage, the latest project from the folks who’ve brought you Boxcar? Upstage is another recent project gunning to simplify iOS developer’s needs to share and collaborate ideas frictionlessly online. Providing frames for popular iOS devices, you’re allowed to upload screenshots to create a series of screens that can be shared with clients and coworkers. I didn’t see any markup tools inside the app for quick sketching or circling, and developers will have to keep in mind the various resolutions for their devices if they wish to upload their designs. While the service is in public beta, you can help the Upstage team improve, add features, and iron out bugs by giving the service a trial run.
