Free in the AppStore (iTunes Link) is basically a mobile, full featured version of imdb.com.
Which is a good thing.

HootSuite has just announced the release of HootSuite for iPhone, which should be available tomorrow in the AppStore. They also posted a video of HootSuite mobile in action and, truth be told, I’m really impressed so far. They included most everything the web service has, like statistics and Twitter lists. But there’s so much more inside this application, watch the video below.
Now, I think HootSuite could become the perfect companion to Tweetie 2 on my iPhone. If you have a blog, or you manage your brand, be sure to check out this HootSuite thing.
Expect a detailed review as soon as it’s available.
If you’re a freelancer, it’s very likely that you need to keep track of your finances. You have to track expenses, choose a budget every month, check where does your income come from or where and how you spend more money.
Today I’d like to talk about MoneyBook, an iPhone application by NoIdentity which does all of this with a stunning user interface.
Multifl0w, the excellent app that lets you switch between backgrounded apps on your iPhone, has just been updated to 1.2.1 version which adds a much requested feature: the possibility to close a running application from the multifl0w interface itself.
This update make Multifl0w even more useful and gorgeous. In case you don’t know anything about it, here’s my review.
I really don’t know what to say. They should submit it to the AppStore, maybe Steve will approve it himself.
(Thanks to @andytubageek for the heads up)
Ok, maybe I’m not the best person to review Foobi. I mean, I’m italian and Italy is famous for its foods goodness: pasta, pizza, they’re famous all around the world. Maybe food is one of the few reasons I still love Italy. Anyway, when I first saw Foobi I was shocked by its gorgeous interface and smooth animations. Now that I’tried it, I can say that Foobi, if in the right hands, could be one of the most useful apps on your iPhone.
And turns out that we’ve also got some codes to give away.
Now, let’s hope Twitter won’t implement native quotes.
Before OS 3.0 we were unable to copy & paste stuff on our iPhones: sure, there were apps such as Clippy available in Cydia which allowed us to use some sort of copy and paste features, but it wasn’t polished, refined and stable like the solution Apple came out with. And it seems like after the release of iPhone OS 3.0 people stopped asking about new stuff, everyone seems to be satisfied now. Fortunately, there are many people who noticed that the “action menu” (the one you activate everytime you copy / paste / select some text) could be improved a lot.
Fortunately, there’s a guy like Ryan Petrich who developed an amazing tweak called Action Menu.
You probably already know how many Twitter clients are available in the AppStore: a lot. Choosing a Twitter application is just your personal preference now, depending on the features you need and how much you’d like to pay to tweet from your iPhone. But you know, Twitter clients could be a lot better if only Apple removes all the SDK limitations developers have to fight with.
Fortunately, there’s Cydia, the amazing alternative store created by Saurik which is the main reason why people jailbreak their phones. I was browsing Cydia last week and I stumbled upon a great application, which has changed the way I read my timeline updates: Twidget.
