Two great updates showed up in iTunes today: Spotify (UK store only) and Last.FM, both free, have been updated to include support for iOS 4 multitasking.

Pulse Mini for iPhone Available in the App Store
Pulse is an innovative and great looking visual news reader for iPad, which has quickly become one of the most popular apps in the App Store - even after Steve Jobs praised it and the New York Times managed to force Apple to temporarily remove it.
The Alphonso Labs developers decided they wanted to do things bigger though, so they started working on an iPhone version of Pulse - Pulse Mini.
iPhone 4, iMovie and Short Films
Is the iPhone 4 really that good at recording HD videos and let you edit them on the go with iMovie? Could this setup ever lead to professional mobile creations?
I was impressed yesterday by the quality of these two videos I stumbled upon on Vimeo, and decided to embed them below. I look forward to start playing with iMovie and see what I can come up with. If you have more videos to share, drop us a comment below.
iMovie Running on iPhone 3GS
The guys over at Redmond Pie have managed to modify the iMovie application file and install it on an iPhone 3GS. As you can see from the video after the break, it works just fine, despite Apple selling it as iPhone 4 exclusive for its high RAM requirements.
I assume that to do this you’ll have to edit the .ipa file of the app and enter a few strings to add 3GS support, then move the app into your device via SSH or iTunes. Redmond Pie removed the step-by-step guide due to Apple DRM violation, so I can’t tell. If you installed iMovie on your 3GS too, please let us know.
Tourist for iPhone Helps you Travel Overseas
You’re going overseas right? Using your iPhone internationally may incur some serious charges if you’re not careful, and how do you trust connecting to a Wi-Fi hotspot all willy nilly? Deciding to go off the grid, you’re still gonna need some excellent resources on hand to get you through Paris, and the first place you look is Wikitravel. But you’re not surfing the interwebs for this valuable data – it’s already stored offline. On your phone. How you might ask? Tourist for the iPhone.

Steve Jobs on iPhone 4 Reception Issues: “Just avoid holding it in that way”
This has been the main topic on the internet all day: the iPhone 4 has reception issues. Many people are reporting that when holding the phone in the bottom-left corner, the signal drops. Bars go down, you get No Service on your iPhone.
We haven’t had the chance to test this issue (because we haven’t got an iPhone 4…yet) but we’ve read many reports of users either frustrated or surprised that they haven’t been able to replicate the issue.
Now the interesting part: Engadget has got an official statement from Apple, and published an email Steve Jobs sent to a new iPhone 4 customer.
