About Club MacStories

Club MacStories is the destination for more of what you love most about MacStories.

Since the Club began in 2015, it’s provided an outlet for us to go deeper on the apps and topics we care about most. It’s also been a place where we’ve experimented with podcasts, eBooks, wallpapers, and more.

For six years, the heart of Club MacStories was its two email newsletters: MacStories Weekly and the Monthly Log. It’s a format that served us well, and today, it remains a centerpiece of the Club.

However, after publishing over 350 issues, we decided that it’s time to reimagine Club MacStories, break free from the constraints of the newsletter format, and offer something more to our most loyal readers.

That’s why we’ve expanded the Club to offer members three options:

  • Club MacStories: The same great content offered since the Club’s inception, plus a new web-based way to browse back issues on the web.
  • Club MacStories+: Everything Club MacStories offers, plus new in-depth feature stories, a custom-built web app for filtering, searching, and delivering your favorite Club content, our Discord community, a place to meet other MacStories readers and participate in activities and events with the MacStories team, and a rotating collection of discounts on apps and services.
  • Club Premier: The ultimate MacStories experience that includes everything in Club MacStories+ and AppStories+, an ad-free version of our podcast with extra subscriber-only content, delivered earlier than the ad-supported version and at a higher bitrate for a superior audio experience with fully searchable and filterable show notes.

    Club MacStories remains $5/month or $50/year – the same price since 2015 for the same great content and more.

Club MacStories+ adds loads of new content, community access, and rotating discounts on apps and services for $10/month or $100/year.

Club Premier is the best value of all, adding AppStories+, an enhanced, early version of AppStories with access to the same search and filtering engine as Club MacStories+ for $12/month or $120/year.
