Bookmarklets are small javascript scripts that can be saved as in a normal bookmark, you just have to drag & drop them in the bookmarks toolbar, either if you use Safari, Firefox or Opera.

Just drag and drop the Google PageRank bookmarklet to your favorites bar and click on it whenever you want to check the PageRank of any given page.

I’ve been using Threely ( http://3.ly ) for a couple weeks now, making the tiniest, shortest URLs possible!.. I didn’t know they released a bookmarklet until I came accross your article. I installed it and it works GREAT!! Thanks for the info!
