We’ve been browsing the new iPhone section on Apple’s website and we’ve noticed some cool stuff mentioned in the features pages: it seems like iWork apps for iPhone and iTunes 9.2 might be coming soon, sometimes this month.
The good folks over at Engadget have managed to get their hands on the iPhone 4, and they seem to be positively impressed by the device so far.
Now that Apple has announced a new iPhone, all those rumors and mockups seem silly to me. Steve was right: you won’t be disappointed by the WWDC keynote, because you’ haven’t seen anything yet.
We didn’t see anything indeed, and we couldn’t expect the iPhone 4 to become in a matter of two hours the most advanced mobile phone ever built.
Early this morning and throughout the year, we’ve heard lots of rumors. WWDC is an event that’s really for the iPhone, and unsurprisingly, Apple made no announcement for a lot of potential topics.
When iBooks initially launched on the iPad, a lot of people wanted wanted a way to view PDFs, and a better way to bookmark pages. Additionally, people asked for a way to take notes. Apple was listening, and now they’ve implemented these features into the new iBooks for the iPad and iPhone 4 as a part of iOS4.
I honestly don’t remember if AT&T has done this before (chime in with a comment below), but AT&T is making almost everyone eligible for the new iPhone on June 20th. Gizmodo reports:
“According to many reports, AT&T subscriptions that weren’t eligible for phone upgrades until all the way in November have been expedited…”
If you’re So even if you’re on that two year contract and aren’t ready for an upgrade, AT&T is throwing all of that aside. They want you to have the new iPhone, which is spectacular. So pony up two hundred bucks, and get ready to lay out that cash for the world’s most anticipated iPhone yet.
Finally, All Things Digital has posted the full-length version of Steve Jobs interview at D8 last week. Watch the 1 hour and 35 minutes video after the break.
