Taskly, Remodium Winners Announced
Thanks everyone who entered our giveaways in the past week. We’d also like to thank all the developers who offered their products to MacStories readers, so be sure to drop a “thank you” in case you’ve won something!
Anyway, you’ll find the winners after the break. Congratulations!
Dim Safari Reader’s Background
Safari Reader is a really great addition to the latest version of Safari, and it does a pretty job of dimming the background so that you can have a focused reading experience. But sometimes, it’s just not enough – light or cluttered websites still peak through with the utmost disrespect to your eyes. Don’t let those naughty flash ads distract you from reading an Ars Technica epic: we’ve got the goods to get that helpful little background even darker.
Giveaway: 10 Copies of Reeder for iPad Up For Grabs
Reeder is one of the best applications for the iPad. The mix of elegance, awesome graphics, usability and innovations makes it stand out from the crowded App Store and after 48 hours it is already the top paid app for iPad. That should mean something. Be sure to read our in-depth review if you missed it.
Win a copy of Moodagent v2.0 for the iPhone!
We just reviewed Moodagent v2.0 a couple days ago (it’s still hot off the press), and the fine folks behind it were kind enough to pass along two promo codes for the ad-free version. Five dollars each, these moody little tokens are the ticket to well generated playlist.

Alright kids, we know you’ve got nothing better to do than chew through some tunes this weekend. To enter the contest, load up your favorite web, mobile, or desktop Twitter client, and Tweet the following:

iPhone 4 to Go on Sale at Wal-Mart
While I wouldn’t expect any extra low prices, the iPhone 4 will be populating your favorite Wal-Mart on June 24th. Best Buy is also expected to carry the phone on launch day, so pick the better of the two evils if you decide to venture amongst the Apple loyal.

The Macally Bookstand, A Microfiber iPad Cover
I recently got my hands on a Macally Bookstand, which is a hot commodity right now. Apple’s own case isn’t bad – it seems some owners have better luck with it than others – but I wasn’t impressed with the sturdiness & balance of Apple’s stand. Instead, I wanted to opt for a svelte alternative that gave me access to the iPad’s entire screen. The Bookstand fits the bill nicely.
