iOS has come to unify Apple’s mobile space with a single name branding, but that could change to envelop the Mac OS X name-ology as Apple continues desktop development. MacRumors reports that Apple is considering rebranding OS X under the new iOS monicker, and that separate versions of the OS – for iPhone, for iPad, for Mac – could be considered as flavors.

Steve Jobs on iPhone 4 Reception Issues: “Just avoid holding it in that way”
This has been the main topic on the internet all day: the iPhone 4 has reception issues. Many people are reporting that when holding the phone in the bottom-left corner, the signal drops. Bars go down, you get No Service on your iPhone.
We haven’t had the chance to test this issue (because we haven’t got an iPhone 4…yet) but we’ve read many reports of users either frustrated or surprised that they haven’t been able to replicate the issue.
Now the interesting part: Engadget has got an official statement from Apple, and published an email Steve Jobs sent to a new iPhone 4 customer.

iPhone 4 Vs. Flip Ultra HD Vs. 3GS
iLounge has recorded 6 videos comparing the video recording capabilities of the iPhone 4 to those of the old iPhone 3GS and Flip Ultra HD. 3GS aside, the Flip Ultra HD has almost the same quality of the iPhone 4 (they both output 720p video) and better saturation but, like Gruber points out, the iPhone 4 wins in moving and panning.
