iPhone 4 Unlock Is Done, Now Waiting for Release

After weeks of hard work, the iPhone 4 has been unlocked. With a tweet sent a few minutes ago, @planetbeing confirmed that he’s now using an unlocked iPhone 4.

As usual, please remember that unlock is a different thing from jailbreak: by unlocking your iPhone you’ll be able to use any kind of SIM on it, which is very useful for US users who want to ditch AT&T or Europeans thinking about importing one from the States.

Camera+ for iPhone Generates $250.000 In Revenue

In these two years of App Store we’ve read many stories of indie developers making tons of bucks out of apps sales. Still, I’ve noticed a trend recently, and that’s why the news of Camera+ generating over $250.000 in revenue matters: if you look at the App Store Top Paid charts, you’ll see lots of games in there.

So the question is: is still possible to be successful in the App Store even without developing a game? Apparently, it is.

Apple Posts 4 New FaceTime Ads

Apple has just started rolling out four new iPhone 4 commercials, each of them about FaceTime.

The new ads, available for streaming here, are named “Meet her”, “Haircut”, “Smile” and “Big News” - all of them are focused on every day situations that will surely help people better understand the whole FaceTime concept.
