How To: Export a page from Firefox to WebblaCome esportare singoli segnalibri da Firefox a Webbla

I’ve already talked about Webbla, a bookmark library assistant for Mac OS X which helps you in organizing all of your saved sites in a single desktop application.

With this tutorial, I’ll show you how to export single pages from Firefox / Safari / Opera to Webbla.

Vi ho già parlato di Webbla, un’applicazione Mac che vi consente di organizzare tutti i segnalibri di un browser con l’ovvia comodità di un’interfaccia desktop.

In questo tutorial spiegherò come esportare pagine singole da Firefox / Safari / Opera a Webbla.

First, you have to install Webbla’s bookmarklet. To do this, open up Preferences (Cmd + ,) then select Control and drag “Add to Webbla” button to your browser bookmarks toolbar.

Then, when you find an interesting page you’d like to export to Webbla, select the bookmarklet and click. The page will be exported into Webbla’s library and refreshed to obtain a thumbnail and the content info (URL, description)

Now, open Webbla and press Cmd + F to start searching the page you’ve just exported. The simplest method is to remember the title of the article you’ve just saved . (for example, I typed “25 best” to search the post above).

Hit Enter.

As you can see, Webbla will find the page and in the right sidebar you’ll se the favicon, the title and the URL.

To easily sort this page you’d want to add some notes and tags. Tags will be very important for the next step, as they’ll help you in creating Smart Collections.

To create a Smart Collection, just select the little + in the bottom left corner and click on “New Smart Collection”

By creating a Smart Collection you have to enter some parameters. A great way to sort your pages is Tags, so you can simply add “Tags” “contains”  ”your tag” to organize your sites.

Hit Ok.

And that’s what we’ve got, a full organized Webbla.

Prima di tutto, dovete installare il bookmarklet di Webbla. Per fare ciò, aprite le Preferenze (Cmd + ,), selezionate l’etichetta Control e trascinate il pulsante “Add to Webbla” nella toolbar del vostro browser.

Quindi, per esportare una pagina che ritenete interessante, selezionate e cliccate il bookmarklet appena installato. La pagina verrà subito esportata nella libreria di Webbla e refreshata per ottenere il thumbnail e alcune informazioni sul contenuto (URL, descrizione)

Aprite Webbla e premete Cmd + F per iniziare a ricercare la pagina appena esportata. Il metodo più semplice consiste nel cercare tramite il titolo della pagina. (per esempio, ho digitato “25 best” per cercare la pagina di cui sopra)

Premete Invio.

Come potete vedere, Webbla troverà subito la pagina e vi mostrerà nella barra laterale di destra favicon, titolo e URL.

Per organizzare la meglio i vostri bookmarks, è bene aggiungere delle note  ma,soprattutto, delle Tags. Le tags risulteranno molto importanti per il prossimo step, le collezioni Smart.

Per creare una collezione Smart, dirigetevi nell’angolo in basso a sinistra della finestra di Webbla e cliccate il piccolo + in basso a sinistra. Selezionate quindi “New Smart Collection”

Nella creazione di una collezione dovrete immettere alcuni parametri. Come detto in precedenza un metodo eccezionale è sfruttare le Tags, quindi inserite i campi “Tags” “contains” “la vostra tag ” per creare delle collezioni basate sulle vostre tag.

Premete Ok.

Ed ecco qua un Webbla super-organizzato!
