TextMate, Espresso and Coda are each garbage.؟؟؟؟
And so is Illustrator ؟؟؟ (Photoshop is an awesome app—it does have an iPhone app)

No sarcasm aside, I totally agree with you DreadedKilla.
I have no need for an iPhone app (as I don't have one) but I can see the point of having it in some cases.

I tend to agree with scraps678. There are already other solutions for note taking, that seem to do a much better job and are much more matured (VoodooPad, Evernote, Personal Wiki,…)

- Where's syncing through MobileMe? (or even webdav?)
- more advanced search, please?
- No metadata for spotlight-search?
- quick sketching tools?
- apple script support, plugins?
- …
It's highly polished – but nothing more. Waiting for the full versions though, maybe not all features are covered in the vids

Too bad, the notebook metaphor feels as crippled as Notebook's (Circus Ponies): No way to see facing pages (like a real notebook *gasp*) at the same time, and it's still stuck w/ single column of information. Input of information isn't necessary very streamlined either… Sorry this just seems awfully weak under the prettiness.

This is the app I've been waiting for. Finally! It's about time somebody came out with something we Mac users want. This is the next killer app. Even the preview videos are gorgeous! There's a bundle with Yum, Thoughts, and some other thing, which is a pretty great deal. If you pre-order, do you get your license immediately or do you have to wait?

@Thomas, Then by implying that an app with no iPhone app is garbage. You are basically saying iWork is garbage, LittleSnapper, DragThing etc is garbage. Maybe you could try this app out in January before you make any assumptions.

Personally, I think this is a cool app. Cant wait for it to be released!

Wow. I checked back at the site and noticed they had a preview up as well as a link to your article. I like what I see far. Simplified, yet powerful. Beautiful too. Can't wait to try it. Wonder if an iPhone app is coming…
