Although I’m in love with Yojimbo, there’s no doubt that Evernote is the most famous “notes organizer / digital scrapbook” app around.

Built on a solid and intuitive web interface, Evernote is the favourite choice of many Mac users out there, both in its free and premium version. I could write an in-depth review in the next weeks, stay tuned.

Anyway, if there’s one thing Evernote.app for Mac misses, that’s multiple account support. I mean, you can change your account settings in the Preferences, but you’ll have to do it everytime. Wouldn’t it be great to have a little utility to quickly switch between accounts?

Thanks to Jazzaround developers, we can.

The application, called Evernote Account Switcher, it’s very lightweight and simple: you can add as many account as you wish and click on them to switch.

The process is fast and painless. There’s only one drawback the devs still have to fix: instead of remembering the password for each account, Evernote app will ask you every time to enter the password. Maybe a quick rewrite will fix this.

Anyway, the app is free and works great.

Interesting idea, but does EN mind if people set up multiple accounts? It seems they’d be getting more transfer while avoiding paying for the service?

Thanks, this is what I have been looking for.

I’m in the same boat. When I took over my job, my predecessor used Evernote and put all that I needed in Evernote. Now I use it for more than just work. I use it on my phone now too. I want to buy a premium upgrade for personal, but still use the separate account for work.
