Crème is a Twitter client with a splash of Orange Cream Soda. It’s quite lovable because it’s a feed customizer and organizer, designed to present you variables of data that you can meander through. It’s not your typical client, but I think you’ll quickly slurp down the idea.

The activation process for Crème was weird because to link it to your account, you don’t just type in your username and password. Instead you take like a Droplr approach where you link it to your account. Returned to you is a PIN, which can then be copied and pasted into the activation slot. It’s not annoying, just different.

Once in Crème, you’re taken to your Timeline. It’s pretty basic in that it just shows you the latest happenings from Twitter, though the animation effects are very cool. While I don’t like the loading object that appears constantly throughout the app (please find a better way to inform users), a section of unread Tweets, highligted orange, will fade back to a crème color via a domino affect that I could not take my eyes off of.

But the Timeline isn’t the meat of this app, rather it’s the Crème menu. If you pull down on the listings, you’ll refresh everything. If you pull up, you can add different feeds. And that’s the whole point of this app – you can create specialized timelines for various keywords, users, or whatever you feel like adding. It’s a hub for everything you want to keep track of.

Crème is excellent for being a sort of tracking tool, it supports multiple accounts, and allows you to delete lists with ease. I found myself keeping tabs on the latest MacHeist and iPad news.
